Thanks for visiting our site. We are a group of people gathered together to glorify God by leading people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Please take a look around at what we believe, learn a bit more about what we do, and if you have any questions feel free to contact us.
We hope that you’ll join us for our Sunday morning services. We have worship services at 8:00 and 10:45 am each Sunday. You can park anywhere in the lot behind the church or on the street. Just please be sure to not block anyone’s driveway. We love our location in Lafayette and want to be good neighbors.
During the service we worship by singing, praying, and by the reading and preaching of the Bible. We also give an offering but as our visitor you are not expected to give. Giving is just one way in which we worship. We sometimes partake of the Lord’s Supper during the worship service. Again, as our visitor you are not expected to participate unless you have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
During the services there is a nursery and classes for younger kids. Older kids are welcome to worship along with their parents in the sanctuary.
9:30 – 10:30 is the Sunday School hour. There are classes for kids, youth, college students, international students, and adults. The adult bible fellowships (what we call adult Sunday School) are generally divided up by age, but feel free to try out several different classes and find one that meets your needs. Each class has their own style, but all are focused on teaching the Bible in a smaller setting than the worship services.
Our church isn’t just Sunday mornings though. There is prayer meeting on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 and numerous small group meetings all throughout the week. Throughout the year there are other various classes and special events.
While we offer lots of resources to help you grow in your faith, we also believe that God has given everyone gifts they should use to serve. We strongly encourage everyone to get involved in a local church that holds a high view of Jesus Christ and the Scriptures.
