Praying Together for the Ministries at KSBC
Every week during our Wednesday night prayer meeting, we learn about a particular ministry at KSBC and then pray corporately for God to work. This week’s prayer focus will be the Volleyball/Ultimate Frisbee Tournament.
Pastor Depue
Please continue to pray for Tim Depue, our new Associate Pastor, and his family as they transition to Lafayette the first week of July. Pray for the sale of their home in New York and direction to a new home here.

Attention ALL VBS Volunteer Helpers!
There is a VBS Volunteer Training Meeting this Wednesday, June 6th at 6:30pm, here at church!! Any person helping with VBS is highly encouraged to attend, as this meeting will cover all you need to know about how Avalanche Ranch will operate, how to interact, listen, be a good witness to the children participating, how your specific role will function, and how you play a vital part in the flow of week. Crew leaders – this is a particularly important meeting for you, as you’re involved in ALL areas of VBS, and will be working one-on-one with the children. Everyone, please clear your schedule and plan to attend. Be open to God using you in ways you cannot imagine during the week of June 18-22!

Bethesda Team
June 11-24 the Bethesda Team will be traveling to Bethesda Outreach Ministries in South Africa. PRAY for the team as they prepare and raise funds. Each team member will need about $2,400. If you can help, please use a giving envelope and write “Bethesda Team” along with the amount given. This should be over and above your normal, regular giving. Avalanche Ranch
Time’s a wastin’, folks!! Skedaddle on over to the Corral or Registration area and get those pre-registration forms filled out!! VBS will be June 18-22, from 9am – noon each day. Kids age 3 through those that have completed 5th grade are welcome to join us for a rootin’ tootin’ good time learning from God’s word! Ladies will be in the foyer between and after services to answer VBS related questions.
Decorating Week
This week is Decorating Week for Avalanche Ranch VBS! There will be a job for anyone that has the time! Specific work times have been set for today (2 – 5pm); Monday, June 4th ( 9am – noon) and Thursday, June 7th (9am – noon).
Volleyball/Ultimate Frisbee
The coed Volleyball-Ultimate Frisbee tournament is planned for June 16th. High school age and up are invited to participate in open practices hosted by the Purdue Men’s Ultimate Frisbee Club on Wednesdays and Fridays 5:30-7:30 pm leading up to the charity event. Practices are at the fields west of the Purdue West shopping center. If you have any questions, contact Allan Schinckel.

Promotion Sunday
June 3 is promotion Sunday. School age children will move to the class corresponding with the grade they will attend in the fall. Non school age children’s classes are based on age. The age of your child by June 3rd determines what class they belong to (2’s, 3’s, or 4’s & 5’s). If you have questions regarding where your child’s new class is at, please talk to a greeter at the Welcome Desk.
